In 15 minutes by car you are in the center of Tromsø with everything a city has to offer. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. Cottage is 250 m from the main road so in winter times you need 4wd car for going there! Price pr night to hire the jacuzzie is 50 euro. price pr night for the sauna is 30 euro. With the Devil's Tooth as a backdrop, and no light pollution, this is a unique accommodation to experience the midnight sun, the northern lights, the ocean waves and everything else nature on the outer side of Senja has to offer. It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outer side of the adventure island Senja. You can't get closer to nature - with a glass facade of almost 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while sitting inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern lights - it's never boring to look at the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjorden. The cabin was completed in autumn 2018 and is of high standard.
