Very good apartment, fully equipment, in a very good location, the shower have good hot water. The owner living beside the apartment, so its very easy to find her, and she always answer everything very fast. The only one thing is all the guests have to pay for the electric, I stay four days, totally paid around 8 to 9 US Dollars for the electric.

Guesthouse Room 27 Kololi - 1

AprilRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My stay at Room 27 was great! The location was just right for going to the nearby restaurants, the monkey park and the various beaches. It was quiet and peaceful at night and the bed was very comfortable. Hot water was available for showers and there is an option to get a good, full breakfast with juice and coffee for a small fee. Amadou was able to pick me up at the airport and take me back a few days later at very late hours so I didn't have to try to figure out other means of transportation. He was also available to drive me to and from the local beaches which I really appreciated. Very nice stay and very nice people. I definitely recommend staying here. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe.

WouroBa Round Case: Red-Cheeked Cordon Bleu

Our stay at Veronique’s place was the best in our whole trip to Senegal - everything was amazing! Her house is beautiful, full of nature and colourful birds. The huts are very nice, clean and comfortable. The accommodation is just a short walk from the beach and the lagoon. It is also very convenient to visit Joal Fadiouth. Véronique went above and beyond as a host. She made us feel at home and prepared us delicious dinner and breakfast. We would definitely recommend it!

The neighborhood is friendly and very peaceful. Thanks to Sophie, Koura's daughter who welcomed us with great kindness.

Hut at the edge of the mangrove, #2

CianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay at Mamadou’s place in Dassilame Serere. The location is gorgeous, very tranquil, on the edge of the mangroves and surrounded by animals. It is a short Mototaxi ride from Toubakouta so it is very easy to get around. Mamadou and the other hosts were very accommodating and helpful. I hope to come back one day!

Hansen's Lodge R1

NancyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Fatou is a caring host, even getting up at 6am to check that our tour guide for the day seemed reliable. Her place was very clean, with great coffee, a nice courtyard and a fridge and fan in the room. The shower could have been a bit warmer but the room was good value for money. Fatou and her driver collected us from the bus station and she also offered to make other arrangements for us. It was easy to take a tuktuk or taxi from the end of Fatou's street to the big hotels and restaurants, or to walk during daylight hours. Overall, Fatou's place is a good base in Serrekunda, with a small shop and money exchange next door, and we enjoyed our stay.
