The firehouse has great atmosphere and tranquility descends here. There is a living room with dining area and cooking opportunity on the 1st floor. Here is also the heart of the room with an old gravel brick walled in natural stone. On the 2nd floor there is a collection of old equipment that has belonged to the farm, bathroom with toilet/washbasin and bedroom with 3 beds ( 120 cm, 120 cm and 80 cm). Access to shower in other nearby house. The firehouse has electric heating, but no water running water inside. Cold and hot water can be collected in the basement of the house next door.

Øverbøsetra in beautiful cultural landscape

Take a break and relax in beautiful cultural landscape at Øverbøsetra. The cabin has no electricity, it has running cold water and there is a toilet in the barn building next door. If you want to go mountain hikes, there is a short way to DNT's grid, Romsdalsstien, and there are many nice peaks the area. By car you can experience Trollstigen, Atlanterhavsvegen and beautiful Mardalsfossen, among other things. Previously, there were dairy cows on the farm, but now there are young animals grazing peacefully in the green fields.

Located completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking cultural landscapes and rural areas, this is a perfect city both for relaxation and activity.

The apartment in the small farm is 60 square meters. Located along the road between Åndalsnes and Molde. Quiet surroundings and fantastic views of famous mountains such as Romsdalshorn, Trolltindene and Kirketaket. Beds made with bedding. Two beds in one bedroom and bunk bed on the other. It's a great place for just relaxing, and enjoying the fabulous view, but also an excellent starting point for sightseeing, hiking, swimming or fishing in the fjord/river. Skiing and several other activities are easily available in the area, dependig on season. Excelent for couple and family(s) with kids. Private access to the fjord. 800m walk to restaurants and shops.

Beautiful new cottage with all facilities. Here everything is ready for a fantastic stay. Short way to most things, Trollstigen, Trollveggen, Atlanterhavsveien, Romsdalseggen, Molde. Or just sit on the front porch to enjoy the view and watch the cruise ships sail by. The cottage is a perfect starting point for summit hikes summer and winter in beautiful Rauma with its majestic mountains. Short way to beautiful Skorgedalen with ski lifts trails in the winter.

Proximity to lake, as well as lovely hiking areas. 20 minutes by car from Åndalsnes and 1 hour from Molde. 1 km to bus stop(by highway 64) with connection to Molde-Åndalsnes. Continue on 2 km on local road and you will find a Joker grocery store with nice service. Cabin with 4 beds in two bedrooms. 1 room with queen-size bed 150 cm, 1 room with 2 single beds 90 cm. Free parking at the cottage.

Thank you, Paul, for having us at your very special place. The location is truly amazing, and the house itself is exceptional—full of character, thoughtful details, and incredible craftsmanship. We had a wonderful time. Although we weren’t able to explore the area as much as we’d hoped due to feeling unwell, simply staying at your place was more than enough. Admiring the magical view through the large window, listening to the birds in the early morning, and watching the ever-changing clouds over the mountains was an experience in itself. Every glance outside offered something new—just magical. The house was so comfortable and beautifully designed. Just perfect. I can’t wait to come back again in the future—hopefully next time we’ll be able to explore the surrounding area as well.

Beautiful modern well-maintained and equipped property in idyllic surroundings next to woodland with easily walkable trails into the centre of Isfjorden. Plenty of comfortable space inside and out for cooking, eating and relaxing and very comfortable beds. Note that there is only one bathroom. We were 3 adults but I imagine if 9 people staying it might be an issue. Morning and evening birdsong and wildflowers were magical. Views from the terrace were spectacular and would definitely recommend and return here again. We travelled without a car and found it easy to access everything we wanted to by bus and on foot.

Stunning location, surrounded by mountains, very peaceful and beautiful. A short walk down to a pretty river. The cabin is lovely and we enjoyed the fire pit outside. A short drive to Andalsnes where we took the Romsdalgondolen to the top of the mountain, we also enjoyed the indoor climbing centre where our kids tried bouldering. We drove to the bottom of Trollstigen, but it is currently closed (May 2025). Highly recommend.

This place was better than I even imagined or hoped. A private oasis to take in all that this region has to offer. If this were a luxury hotel the cost would be 3x - the value the glimmer house offers is hard to beat in my opinion. Unobstructed views, peace and quiet, comfortable bed and amenities. It has it all! The special provisions of some local chocolates, and coffee for the morning was an appreciated touch. Would come back here time and time again.
