The 5acre

This is a lovely spot in rural Kansas. Quiet, private and interesting. The effort to turn farm buildings into a place for people to inhabit is remarkable. I am a senior citizen and found it a bit challenging, but I do not regret my stay!!

Beautiful ranch close to Ada. They even came and warned me about incoming storms so I could move my car under the shelter. That's hosting above and beyond! I'll definitely be back--it was such a wonderful experience.

Matfield Station - #3 North Unit

This former railroad bunkhouse is such a unique spot in the Flint Hills. The surroundings were beautiful, the property and the main house and barn, which you can see and easily walk to, were in beautiful condition. The unit had a fabulous bed and super nice bedding—and the artwork on the walls was special. It is especially interesting for train enthusiasts! I highly recommend this unique and peaceful retreat.
