This remote cottage on the Blorenge mountain is the perfect getaway, surrounded by woodland & meadows, with nature all around providing beautiful scenic views. If you're looking for an isolated spot to reconnect with yourself & nature, Craig Yr Hafod is for you. The property is up a steep, winding and bumpy road (with the last bit as a grassy track). We have hosted 100’s of guests in many different vehicles over the years but it is impritant that guests are aware that the track is challenging

A wonderful little miner’s cottage located in the village of Llanhilleth in Blaenau Gwent. It's just a couple of minutes off the A467 bypass (A467 is NOT 20mph from M4 J28). Great for visiting the local tourists attractions, such as the UNESCO Blaenavon World Heritage center, the Brecon Beacons, castles, roman ruins and St. Fagans. Fast road to the M4 if visiting the coast. Dogs are welcome. Free on street parking and the local valley train to Cardiff Central Station just 6 mins walk away.

The chickens are free range around the farm and fresh eggs if they are laying are given to guests on arrival to the cottage. The Bull Pen has a large fenced garden which is great for dogs and children.
