It’s hard to put into words how incredible my stay at Peace One was. Jun and everyone at Peace One went above and beyond to make it a stay to remember. From the exquisite evening feasts, relaxing Onsen and sauna to the stunning picturesque location, it really is a hidden gem drenched in spiritual history and architecture. I met some truly amazing souls during my stay and was blessed to experience one of Jun’s insightful shrine tours …. Something not to be missed during your stay! If that wasn’t enough you’re in a prime location to hike up Mt Shakushi with spectacular views of Mt Fuji and surrounding areas. The town of Fujiyoshida is also a walkable distance away. Immerse yourself in traditional Japanese culture for rest, rejuvenation and exploration on a mental, physical and spiritual level with a stay at Peace One

Quiet B&B in Pottery town Mashiko - Twin bedroom

光司Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
It is located in a very long and quiet place, so it is a great place for those who want to relax and enjoy the city of Mashiko. After all, the host, Yuriko, is very nice. You can easily talk and relax as if you were back at home. I am also grateful for the transfer to the accommodation. Thank you very much, Yuriko. And when you come to the inn here, please be sure to experience the cypress bath and breakfast. The cypress bath where you can relax and soak even if you two stretches out, you can soothe the tiredness of the day. It looks like it has been recently renovated, and the scent of refreshing cypress spreads out in the bathroom. All homemade breakfasts are delicious, and freshly baked bread and desserts include coffee. The quiet conversation after breakfast is also comfortable, and the garden from the table is surrounded by greenery, and depending on the season, it seems that you can enjoy various expressions. It was one of the places I wanted to visit when I came to Mashiko again.

Spacious room with a small Japanese-style room overlooking★ Mt. Fuji

KayrinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.

Motoko was very hospitable, and used some English with us since we couldn't speak much Japanese. She also made us breakfast-to-order each day which was *amazing*. The overall environment felt warm and welcoming, and me and my two co-guests were very comfortable. You should know that this is someone's home with a shared kitchen/living room. You and your fellow guests have a more private living space which includes a washing area, bedrooms and other necessities. (and the host has her own space upstairs as well, so you still have a fair amount of privacy regardless). As long as you're ok with that, this will be a great stay!

Upper duplex 4bedroom for 10 beautifully renovated

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed with Rika and Greg. We came back because we knew it would be a wonderful weekend. Location is very close to Ishiuchi ski resort and a short drive from Echigo Yazawa station. There's a really nice onsen just down the street from the house. Rika/Greg have great recommendations for delicious restaurants nearby. The house fits two large groups comfortably with a big common area, nice kitchen, drying room, and a bathroom facility that works well for large groups. To me, that's all I can hope for in an Airbnb. What makes this place the best in Japan is Greg and Rika. They make you feel like family. Always good recommendations, always good stories, and always happy to help. Really looking forward to continuing our annual Ishiuchi tradition and see Rika and Greg next year.

This house is vintage with lots of charm. Was 15 minutes walk to the lake and transportation. Not too many choices of restaurants that are near by. I’m happy I had breakfast included in my reservation. The owner is an energetic, older lady very sweet, she made the best breakfast for me every morning. Thank you so much for your hospitality and helping me during my stay.

204 Yamanakako Pension - A break

Couldn't recommend it more!Beautiful house, close to Yamanakako and Hiranoya Station, you can see Mt. Fuji when you go out.The daily breakfast is great. I stayed here for 2 days and was surprised to eat the host's own American and Japanese breakfast. It's really thoughtful. ~ Because I'm here to ride around Mt. Fuji, the host also took us around the lake and introduced us to the attractions along the way. Thank you very much.🙏💗
A scenic view of Mount Fuji is framed by vibrant red autumn leaves. In the foreground, benches are positioned along a pathway that leads to a grassy area, while golden grasses are visible near the lake. The clear sky enhances the mountain's majestic presence.
