It is one of Japan's leading ski resorts in winter, with wild vegetable picking in spring, tennis and mountain climbing in summer, and autumn foliage in autumn, so you can enjoy it throughout the four seasons. This is an inn that has been a regular lodging for climbers since ancient times, located in Tsuchiizumi Station, which is one of the three largest rock climbing areas in Japan, the Ichinokura Rock Climbing Trail at Mt. Tanigawa, and the back station of Doi Station (the next station after crossing the tunnel). This is a private lodging based on the novel "Snow Country", where the main character, Shimamura, meets Komako at the inn on his way down the mountain (of course, this is the story of the novel).
