The townscape and sightseeing spot "Tsuyuden" that has been around since the Edo period is within walking distance, and it is also known as a place related to Ryoma Sakamoto and the Kaien-tai. Also, the view of the Seto Inland Sea from the "Fukusenji Temple" on the hill is a must-see. After sightseeing, relax at the nearby day-use hot spring and feel the gentle Setouchi breeze while walking through the quiet townscape. We recommend starting with breakfast at a cafe on the hill, then strolling through the historic streets, having lunch at a local restaurant, and visiting the Ryoma Museum and Fuzanji Temple. The host renovated the house where he spent every summer vacation as a child, and it opened in January 2026. It is conveniently located a 2-minute walk from the bus stop by the sea and a 1-minute walk from a convenience store, making it the perfect base for walking around Konooura. From the second floor, you can see the calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea and the nearby islands. There is also a working space equipped with WiFi where you can work on a PC, etc., so it is recommended for workations. There is no parking lot, so you will need to use the coin-operated parking lot in the neighborhood. The accommodation fee includes the Hiroshima Prefecture Accommodation Tax (200 yen per person per night).
