Reindeer often come by. Moose can make a quick visit. Otherwise, otters and weasels run around the houses. In the sea, seals and rarely dolphins swim. An excellent place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it is windless, it is reflected in the sea as well. Tromsø city center bus, about 15 mins. Sauna can be rented when you stay here - agreed later.

Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Cozy cabin on a farm with parking

Experience the midnight sun in the summer and northern light in the winter from our cabin. Located by the sea, with all facilities and parkingplace. 60m2, spread over two floors. Two bedrooms with five sleepingplaces in total. We can also provide with a extra bed for a baby. A perfect spot to discover Tromso and it's surroundings due to the close location to the city and at the same time as it is located with nature close by. In the summertimes we can rent out bikes and a boat with a driver.

Cozy independent Aurora SPA homestay

This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. On-site services: EV charging 400kr/ Private transfer 500kr/Hot tub 1200kr or 100€ for 2 days/Sauna 500kr or 40EUR per use (cash only)

In this place you can stay close to everything. The location is central and has free parking for two cars. The apartment has two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. There is the possibility of extra bed and Travel cot for toddlers. Spacious bathroom with shower and a full kitchen. 15 min. walk to city center 7 min. walk to Telegrafbukta Good bus connections. The apartment was newly renovated in January 2022. We live in the rest of the house ourselves, so parties are not allowed.

No street lights, no traffic, no asphalt. Welcome!

Apartment in beautiful Grøtfjord

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Free use of washing machine, dryer, hot tub, towels, bed linen, detergents, kitchen and cable TV/Internet 2 bedrooms with double beds for a total of 4 people. Comfortable self-inflating high air mattress (90x200x40cm) for a fifth guest, can be placed in the bedroom or living room. Free parking for one car. Entrance on the backside of the house with stairs up to the apartment.

Cozy cabbin by the sea, under the Norten Lights

Cabbin only 26 km from Tromsø Airport, 20 km from City senter , a perfect location for watching the mythical northern lights! The Polar night lasts from about 27 November to 21 January. The sun stays below the horizon for the entire period. The midnight sun is visible from about 20 May to 22 July. Northern lights you can spot during the period from the beginning of September to the middle of April.
