Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Tokyo Prefecture

10 out of 10 best Airbnb we have been too while here in Japan for 4 people. We loved the extra amenities. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend to my family and friends! Convenient location as well. We will definitely come back to this location again.

Our first trip to Japan and this was our first stay out of 3 places. I would say the location was great, it was close to Ueno station (and park) around 15min walk. and there was another smaller station about 5min walk. There were convenience stores nearby as well. The place itself was a bit small but I think that is just the norm for Tokyo. Still it was comfortable and all the amenities were working great. We ended up doing laundry several times, and even though it was the rainy season the clothes did dry in 1 day. The host was responsive and the instruction for check in and check out were great. Overall a great place to stay.

We had a great stay. Conveniently located 2mins from the metro and within minutes of nice coffee shops. Recommend for a short stay in Tokyo.

Ce logement est super, peut-être un peu loin du centre, mais le métro est proche ! Il était plus petit que je ne l’imaginais, mais ce n’était pas dérangeant. Il y avait du rangement, tout pour cuisiner et pour se laver (savons, serviettes…). Yuga répond rapidement et tout était clair ! En plus, le logement était situé dans un quartier tranquille, c’était super apaisant de sortir se promener un peu !

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Weikos Apartment. Die Lage ist super, man erreicht alle tolle Straßen und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Shibuya zu Fuß. Die Wohnung war groß, sehr sauber und wir haben uns direkt sehr wohlgefühlt. Unsere Tochter fand die Mario Kuscheltiere klasse. Vielen herzlichen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt Weiko! ☺️

Gracious hosts whom were very responsive. The apartment was clean and utilities were well kept. The kitchen had everything you need to cook.

My family and I really felt at home in Maiko’s place. It was very clean, she provided all the necessary amenities and it was very comfortable. We had such a great time staying there. Roads to her house are narrow, we drove an alphard and it was possible, but it can be difficult for some people. Overall I’ll definitely recommend this place! Thank you for hosting us Maiko 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Chie’s place. The apartment was lovely, clean, and in a peaceful area—perfect for a relaxing break. Chie and her husband were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to reply and happy to help with any questions we had, even those not directly related to our stay. They gave great local recommendations and were very helpful when we were checking out. The beds were super comfy—definitely the highlight of the house! We’d love to stay here again in the future.

DVD／BluRayの再生機器はあるかを尋ねた時に一度ないと言われて諦めかけましたが、用意をしていただけて本当にありがとうございました！お陰様でみんなで見たかった映画が見れて大変楽しかったです。サブスクにないものだったので助かりました。 住居は広く快適で、寝室とリビングが１階2階でわかれていたため各々のペースで休めることもできました。お風呂▪️シャワーと別にあり清潔で素晴らしい宿でした。 テレビがリビング（椅子と長机）の方にもあるとより最高でした！

The house was fantastic—spacious, clean, and perfect for our group of 8. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a short and easy walk to the train station, which made getting around very convenient. The host was incredibly responsive and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Definitely worth renting the airbnb,me &my friends book this place in May for 6 nights. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best place we have ever been to. The facilities are look brand-new and all functional. The house owner also reply in no sec, giving clear instructions to every questions we inquired. The location is also amazing since there are tons of convenience stores nearby. The only downside is that the plug locations are not that convenient and may cause some problem. But overall, the pros, with no doubt, outweigh the cons!

家族で数泊させていただきました。新築ということもあって、どこもとても清潔で気持ちよく過ごせました。部屋ごとに少しずつ雰囲気が違っていて、インテリアもおしゃれで落ち着ける空間でした。 子連れにとってありがたかったのが、ベビーチェアやベビーベッド、おもちゃなどが揃っていたこと。荷物を減らせたし、子どもも飽きずに遊べて、親としてはかなり助かりました。キッチンや洗濯機などの家電も一通り揃っていて、滞在中のちょっとした家事もスムーズにできました。 広さも十分にあって、家族みんながそれぞれくつろげるスペースがあったのもよかったです。リビングでご飯を食べたり、夜は早めに寝かしつけたりと、生活のリズムをあまり崩さずに過ごせたのが個人的には嬉しかったポイントです。 駅からは徒歩圏内で、周辺にスーパーや飲食店も多く、滞在中の買い物や食事には困りませんでした。浅草やスカイツリーにもアクセスしやすく、観光と生活のバランスがちょうどよかったです。 ホストの方との連絡もとてもスムーズで、こちらの質問にも丁寧に対応していただき、安心感がありました。家族連れには本当におすすめできる宿です。また東京に来る機会があれば、ぜひまた利用したいです。

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Tokyo dans ce logement situé dans le quartier d’Ikebukuro. La description et les photos sont bien fidèles. Tout s’est bien passé : mention spéciale à son hôte qui est très réactif si vous avez la moindre question !

Some people run their Airbnb just as a business, but it's clear that Yudike and Asami have a genuine passion for hospitality and meeting new people. One glance at the adorable guestbook lets you know the level of care and consideration that they put into every aspect of their property. We stayed as a family with one child, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Odawara is a wonderful, vibrant, and entirely friendly city that is bound to blow up in tourism over the next few years. Everything is four minutes away -- the station, Don Quijote, Daiso, dinner options, family breakfast chains, a bus to Yunessun. I will definitely be back, and hopefully able to stay at this exact same spot.

This was our first Airbnb in Japan and it started off the trip well. 5 full size beds in 3 bedrooms was great for privacy. Mattresses are on the firm side. It's in the middle of K-town so lively and exciting, but on Monday night, I could hear people and k-pop playing until 4 am. Luckily I enjoy the music and was so jet-lagged, I slept through most of it. There's a filtered water dispenser, which is very nice for filling reusable bottles for the day and not having to worry about buying from the store. There's a couple hosts and the one who was in charge of communication during the trip was very responsive, even when I messaged at 7 am (sorry!) The dining table was nice to eat quick meals at and a Lawson is right around the corner. The shower was fairly clean, but we did have to use the designated shower slippers and the area right outside the shower lacked clean space to put down our clean clothes or toiletry bags etc. Not a big deal unless you're a germaphobe. Overall great experience!

Great location! So close to the hustle and hustle of Shibuya and yet so quiet and so peaceful and in such a great area! I loved the location! The home is clean and very spacious and especially for Tokyo standards and had everything we needed. Close to all types of shopping, grocery, dining, bars and restaurants. The host is very responsive and I appreciated that as well. Overall, I recommend this home for its great location in Tokyo and the fact that it’s a clean and spacious home with a responsive host.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal bei Yoko und wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist unglaublich groß und alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich und Yoko hat sich gut um uns gekümmert, sie hat sogar extra etwas für uns gekocht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

This is a truly wonderful place to stay—surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible sense of peace, accompanied by the gentle sound of birds and a flowing river. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice; the property is even more beautiful in person, and I’m so glad we chose it. Eriko was a fantastic host, always attentive and thoughtful. We walked to an onsen just 10 minutes away, which was an amazing experience. The private onsen on the property was perfect for my little girls (5 and 7 years old), and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sound of the river in the background felt absolutely magical. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hakone.

エイホウさん was an amazing host. Very warm, friendly and positive attitude, always responsive. I loved my 7-day-stay at this apartment and it was mainly because of エイホウさんpresence. The price is right, the location was very quiet and close enough to 2 subway/train stations which made it easy to go anywhere. Thank you エイホウさん for everything!!
