I had a great stay at Anthony's place. Everything was as expected, he also had prepared a very useful list of local restaurants, bars, takeaways etc. as well as some other recommendations. would stay with him anytime again.

Bright room in shared house.

A cozy stay on top of a hill. The home is cozy, quiet and has nice kitties. Bed is large, thick futon and firm. The is a lovely foyer & outdoor garden for lounging. Ruth is welcoming, engaging and will have a chat with you if that's your vibe. The walk downhill towards the city center is steep then passes the 'Shakey Bridge ' and goes into a lovely park called Fitzgerald, walk towards the Cork Public museum (free) for a little tour then north of the museum is a lovely walkway called the Lee Banks Walkway that overlooks the river and soon you'll be in downtown, 30~ minutes walk. I do not recommend walking back to the AIRBNB because it's uphill. There's only one bus line that works best for this location as seen in other reviews.

Tudor Townhouse #3

Pleasant stay at Pamela's, in Ballincollig. I was very well looked after by John. The neighborhood is residential and quiet. A few minutes' walk away, there is the 220 bus stop for Cork which runs every 10 minutes. You can also easily shop in the shopping street. The room is bright, quiet. You can enjoy the kitchen, the refrigerator. I spent 4 excellent nights and was able to discover Cork and its region (Cobh, Kinsale, Cork and Blarney Castle) by taking public transportation.
A cozy living area is furnished with a light-colored plush sofa and armchairs. A wooden coffee table occupies the center, and a decorative fireplace is positioned against one wall. An ornate mirror adds depth, while soft lighting from the ceiling fixture creates a welcoming ambiance.

Close to Cork City and Blarney: An Ideal Location

NapoleonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Helen is a very warm, kind and attentive host who will make sure your stay at her place is as comfortable as can be. The room, bathroom, kitchen and house in general are all kept extremely clean, which was a real pleasure for me to come back to after long days of sightseeing and traveling. The place is situated in a nice, quiet neighborhood just a couple minutes walk from a bus stop that will take you right into the city center in 15 minutes, which makes it super convenient. If you see this listing available, book it, you won’t regret it!
