Monthly Rentals in Tinnoset

We had a fantastic time here! Everybody in the group (7 adults 3 kids) was very happy and despite the variety of age and interest no one felt dissatisfied. During the days some of us took a car and drove out and others took food in a rucksack and walked out. The house has plenty of space! We could have been a few people more and it would not have been a problem. The pictures does not do it justice. The house is to a high standard and the views are stunning!

We had an absolutely wonderful 3 nite stay at Jan-Eilert & Cecilia’s charming farmhouse overlooking the lake. The setting was peaceful & incredibly scenic-waking up to the view each morning was truly magical. The house itself was warm, cosy & full of character. The rooms were tastefully decorated with attention to details that make us feel at home. The fireplace added a lovely touch, especially in the evenings. Jan-Eilert & Cecilie were such gracious & welcoming hosts. We enjoyed the conversations with them & the care they put into making our stay comfortable. The availability of a baby chair is a plus for our 1 yr old infant. Their lovely dogs were a joy to be around. This stay was more than just a getaway- it was a unique experience of nature, warmth & connection. We would return in a heartbeat & recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a special retreat.

Super lovely stay for my parents from the UK to enjoy their first cabin experience. Large family cabin perfect for families young and old. Great spot to get to explore Rjukan and Telemark. Lovely history and quite a famous family cabin in Hytte magazine! Takk

This is a home for those of you who value the genuine and the beauty and stillness of nature. The cottage is amazingly charming and everything necessary is there, even if it is easy. It is especially enjoyable to fall asleep to the cam in the fireplace. There is a fireplace in every room and in the living room a big and beautiful fireplace. The surroundings are very beautiful to hike in, but if you want to go cross-country skiing, you have to drive 15-45 minutes to find trails. In summary, we would highly recommend the accommodation and Caper, which is a very nice and helpful host.
