Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ticino

Silviu’s place was lovely. It was charming and within walking distance of a Chinese super market, the lake, and a place for coffee. Silviu even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station which was extremely kind. His place is close to the train station but it is a would have felt very long with our heavy bags. He was very kind and responsive before and during the visit. There was also parking right in-front of the place for our friends who had a car. We had a great stay.

Comfortable and cozy house with a quiet internal garden that offers a crazy view of the lake. It was a regenerating and relaxing stay.

The accommodation is beautiful - the fantastic view is the absolute highlight. The rooms are super divided & the house is very charming. Would book again immediately! Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's not easy to find a parking spot.

Casa Sarina is very nice and quietly located and has a fantastic view of Lake Lugano. In the village of Carona there is a small kiosk that provides everything for everyday needs. For larger purchases, however, you have to drive down the serpentine road to the valley. From the property you can either walk directly or after a short drive take wonderful walks through Vico Morcote to Morcote or to Monte San Salvatore. The place was very clean and as described by the landlord. Markus and Anna are very loving hosts and enriched our stay with many tips. We would choose this accommodation again any time.

I immediately felt very comfortable in the small, lovingly furnished cottage. The location, surrounded by nature, is particularly noteworthy and the enchanted garden is perfect for relaxing. Barbara provided me with all the necessary information in advance and was always available for questions.

Simply a great place to stay for a vacation in Ticino. Brigitte personally welcomed us and showed us everything. She gave us great recommendations for the area, which we tried directly and enriched our vacation with her knowledge of Ticino. The Ticino house is very nice, practical and thoughtfully furnished and offers wonderful seating, especially outside, with great views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Maggiore in the distance. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances all work very well. The wine cellar also invites you to taste. We always liked to include the box with travel guides, maps and brochures in our daily planning. We also liked the location of the house. Somewhat away from major main roads, but also not too far off. Thus, the trips to the excursion destinations were very pleasant and shopping facilities were also easy and quick to reach by car

Sara was the best. The Apartment was perfect. We cooked 2 dinners there with fresh food from the small grocery store we walked to in the nearby Govone. We loved the views from the chairs in the yard. Bed was very comfortable. The Apartment was very spacious and had everything.

We had a truly unforgettable stay in a private and charming setting. We really appreciated the presence of the barbecue and sauna, which made the relaxation even more enjoyable. In addition, the accommodation was in impeccable condition: clean and cared for in every detail.

Located in a small hamlet at the end of the road, very quiet, the paths are just outside the door, woods and pastures are a short walk away. The apartment is a part of a large house typical of the area, it is the last of 4 floors but the access is private and on the floor since the village is "uphill". The decor is rustic, there is everything you need, ideal for those who want to spend a few days away from the world. If you do the shopping before you arrive, you can forget about the car! We came back after a first experience last year and we have always been well. Pietro is always available and kind. Thanks, we hope to be back!

Wonderful apartment with great view over the lake! The apartment is very clean and has very modern and new amenities. The host Christoph is very responsive and friendly!

Beautiful place! It really Felt like a home. Marisa made this place with great taste and a personal touch. The hospitality was great and Kind. We had an amazing time here and will definitely recommend it to anyone that comes here.

We had a wonderful time in Lugano. We liked the place and the garden very much. Roberto and Lisa always gave us quick answers and were very helpful 🤗

Clara's place was a peaceful retreat at the end of busy days. She and her family were incredibly friendly. The garden is stunning, and the doggie eager for pets. The garden house was as advertised and clean. I would absolutely stay again.

Reto is super friendly and apparently speaks many languages perfectly! The kitchen is not only very pretty, combining antique and charming furniture with very good quality recent appliances (induction stove, futuristic extractor hood, all necessary utensils available, magnificent fridge… all impeccably clean). It's hard to go back to our modest city apartment. 😅 We didn't miss anything, it's also possible to eat outside. The containers for the trash are very close, no problem without a car. Same for the bathroom, comfortable and generously supplied with towels of different sizes and highly appreciated basic products. The whole place is extremely cozy and comfortable, very welcoming and warm. We hope to return soon! And the area is absolutely fantastic, we had the chance to do magical hikes and hope to be able to come back to Reto's in winter!

This is my first time to Italy and Europe. As someone who works in the hospitality industry I can say I was floored by Renata’s. She was such an accommodating host and went above and beyond despite operating a beautiful wine operation in which I purchased several bottles of wine from. The town is a 20 minute walk from the location with small stores and markets you can purchase day to day goods from. A couple things to note if you do rent from here: 1- RENT a vehicle, public transit is non existent in this area. 2- have euros as some of the shops don’t accept card. Renata let us know about the transportation concerns and being naive we did not heed her warnings. The experience we had was one I will never forget due to Renata’s amazing hospitality. In conclusion I would only stay at Renata’s amazing apartment in the future and I will have a car rented. Renata was so kind to help with securing transportation for us!!!

Very clean and neat top floor apartment, awesome for family stay. Great interior design and all the appliances one may need. Astonishing view from the balcony. It was cozy even during heavy rain. Secure parking on the premises, which is big deal in the area that has shortage of parking spaces. The host was absolutely amazing and willing to go an extra mile to make our arrival, stay, and departure comfortable. A couple of tips: Drive up the hill appears to be a bit steep and narrow for someone used to wider roads. Good pizza place close by. A nice hike further up the hill. The locals start driving early and both bedrooms face the street so it can be a bit noisy in the morning. There are a couple of construction sites in the vicinity but to our surprise they weren’t a disturbance at all. The best shopping area is Fuentes in Calico about 15 min drive around the northern tip the lake.

Very helpful and attentive hosts. Very clean and well-equipped place. Very good location for those looking for sun, clean air, and tranquility. For those who have walking problems, consider the ten-minute walk to reach the cabin. The road to get near the cabin by car in the last stretch is unpaved, so it is unsuitable for low cars as correctly reported by the owners. You can go on interesting walking excursions from the house. The telephone/data signal is almost absent and there is no television, so the accommodation is really suitable for those who want to disconnect. A few cabins nearby.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage has a great view and is surrounded by mountains. We enjoyed the whirlpool. Chiavenna is a very cute town with really good food. Nicola was a great host. We highly reccomend to stay there!

The stay with Devid and Fabio was wonderful. The cottage is tastefully and modernly furnished, the beds are comfortable. There is a nice rain shower and the kitchen contains everything you need. But, the best thing is the view of Lake Como. What a beautiful panorama that is a little different every day. In the red book, Devid and Fabio have collected a lot of practical information and ideas for excursions, we have visited a number of them: without exception successful. In addition, Devid gave us all kinds of good advice and guided us well in the process of arrival and departure. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much for that.

Maria's place was the perfect getaway! The cottage was lovely, just right for the four of us. The kitchen had all the utensils you need to cook. The outdoor space was beautiful and functional, lovely garden. The fireplace inside brought a lovely atmosphere and warmth in the evenings. Communication with Maria was easy, we also got to know Maria's family! There are nearby grocery stores in Foresto Sparso, and just a small distance drive to Iseo. Nearby hiking trails, so there's plenty to do! I can recommend Maria's place to everyone!

A rustic with top quality. Not too much and not too little. Tastefully and stylishly furnished. We felt SUPER comfortable. Unfortunately, the stay was too short ....... but we will come back 100%. Bravo Fabio!

It was just right for a little getaway. I was able to recharge super; the surroundings and the house were a dream. I felt very comfortable right away. Andy was always very helpful and hospitable, thank you for everything. I can highly recommend the place. I'd love to come back - next time with my family.
