Wonderful location and great place that had everything that I needed for a relaxing weekend. Kayaking with seals made it extra special. Would stay again!

Amazing place. Great amenities, cabin, and lake access. The only issue we had was a mixup in which the host thought we were arriving a day later and it hadn't been cleaned. She offered a different cabin for us, but we chose to stay. She offered for the place to be cleaned the next day but we declined, and she refunded our cleaning fee. She even offered for us to stay late on our checkout day and enjoy the lake some more! She was very communicative and we had an excellent time! Some people mention the beds being uncomfortable but I wonder if they've been updated because our bed was incredibly comfortable. The living room couch was new and very comfortable too.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is darling, right on the water, and peaceful. The house was exceptionally clean and very well cared for. It was the perfect place to unwind for a few days.

The tree swing house cannot be unmatched! I searched high and low for a lakefront property that would accommodate five guests comfortably with a hot tub, a fire pit, and a lot of flexible outdoor space, and this place did not disappoint in any area! The house is incredibly comfortable, comes with everything that you need (and more!) so you can arrive to the island knowing you’ll have everything you need for a fun weekend. We planned on heading over to the restaurant, but we’re enjoying the house and property so much we ended up not leaving for the entire weekend! The inflated paddle boards, the canoes, and the private dock were so great to have at a moments notice and made our lake vacation something to remember! There’s also a floating pad out in the lake that’s a fun little island for your group to hang out on! The only thing to note is that the ferry is about $32 a car, so make sure to alert your guests of the extra expense. Totally worth it and hope to be back very soon.

We had such a lovely stay here. The view is insane, the outdoor space is just incredible. The master bedroom is stunning, the kitchen is fully stocked. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable, tons of towels for hot tub which was very clean and gorgeous. And we lived on the outdoor deck. Easy drive to mt rainier np! (I would suggest having a 4 wheel drive vehicle, it’s steep drive up the mountain on an unpaved road. We had a 4 runner so we were 100% fine! Only had a few cons. There was a mouse inside leaving droppings everywhere and I found it in the kitchen sink. 20 minutes to the closest store/gas station (pro and con lol) living room couches are old and stained, spider webs at face height in some corners. Just thought I’d share for the price. value.

Steve is such a wonderful host! Very helpful and responsive. His cabin is so well thought out and has everything that you could possibly need. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Thank you for the wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. It was very close to my family and the places I needed to go. It was beautiful and peaceful. I loved listening to the river with the window open. The decor is lovely and all of the necessities were provided. This was a wonderful stay, I would recommend 🙏❤️🙏

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin with a gorgeous view. Beds and sheets were very comfortable, lots of nice new towels. Kitchen had necessities. It was great having a grill right off the kitchen. The pictures made the home look a little bigger but it was nonetheless a good amount of space for 5-6 people. We appreciated being able to bring the dogs and there were pet towels and a dog feeding mat already there. Kathy was great to communicate with and provided all the information we needed.

This property was exactly as listed. Very nice & clean. Jerry was very responsive & got back to us immediately, when we had a question or two. If/when we return to WA I would definitely re-rent from him!

Hands down one of the best places we’ve been to. We were 4 people with dogs. They had 2 crates in the living room and a outdoor bed in the backyard ready for us, plus the toys & treats for furry babies! The backyard was fully fenced and had chairs around the bonfire. We were lucky to use the kayaks on the beautiful weather. The place was exactly as described and as pictures, everything was clean and the bed was comfy too. Nothing to complain! The host responded so quickly every time and I could tell that they really care about their guests, by the communication and the amenities they prepared in their place. We look forward to coming back here for another great and peaceful gateaway. Thanks so much again! 🩷

We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy Anderson island cottage. The bedroom themes and decor add a delightful charm, and I found myself wondering what exciting stories I would discover throughout our stay. I’ve never felt quite so at home when away from home .

We really enjoyed this space. The quaint atmosphere of the cabin made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We sat outside and listened to the birds and farm animals in the area. It was great! The bed was really comfortable and both the kitchen and bathroom were clean and functional. The cabin’s space though small was just right for our family of 4.

Wow! The photos were gorgeous but when you step inside, this place is spectacular. It was hard to decide where to relax…..in front of the huge statement fireplace in the coziest of chairs……in the loft with games and tv……around the fire pit outside with cool lighting and blooming plants all around…..or maybe if you love to mess around in a kitchen, you opt for the amazing cooking space equipped with everything you could want. We managed to enjoy it all. You will too! We used this fabulous home as a base camp for exploring Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. Next time we will bring bikes and take advantage of the great bike trail system located a stone’s throw from the front door. Finally, thanks to Chris and Ben for welcoming dogs with a self-filling water bowl! We loved it here.

I hesitate to reveal how great Carl's place is because I don't want it to become so popular that it becomes hard for me to book. The setting is spectacular. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans everything you need. There are also basic staples that renters can use. If you don't like to cook, a lakeside restaurant is a short walk from Carl's. The restaurant is currently open Wed- Sun. We went on a couple of short hikes that were close by. Millersylvania Park is about a 15 min. drive. We also enjoyed seeing the Monarch Butterfly Sculpture Garden. Lots of outdoor art and a fun area for kids (or adults) to play in. I had some questions for Carl and he always responded quickly and clearly. Carl and Sue make available everything that the renter might forget to bring: Toothbrushes, Q-tips, shampoo, etc. Did I mention the jar of chocolates? We are not fishing enthusiasts, but it looks like that could be fun. Carl also has kayaks & life vests.

What a beautiful location and immaculate in and out. Never had been to the area and we definitely will be back.

This place has beautiful surroundings and a stunning view. My family and I had a blast.

We had the most wonderful time at this stunning lake house. It was genuinely the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The view of the lake and its surrounds are absolutely breathtaking and the home is beautifully oriented so that this view is front and centre from every part of the home. The home itself is homely and warm with lovely touches of luxury throughout; Beautiful bedding and linens, a hot tub, fire pits and so many great games! The kitchen and laundry room are fantastically equipped. In addition to all this, the home was very baby friendly for our little 7 month old and would also be perfect for families or friends with lots of indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy. In addition to this Carrie was an exceptional host. Every single one of her recommendations was top notch and she was responsive and friendly. I could not recommend this place highly enough, one of the best trips ever!

Wonderful place, has to be the best one on the lake, unobstructed view of the lake and no zero houses on the opposite side, you literally looking at the forest after the lake ends from the patio. Great fishing spot too, we caught lots of trout and sunfish. Respectful neighbors around, was very quiet during our stay there. We’ve had an extremely relaxing time! Billie is a great host! It was definitely one of our top stays of all time!
