Monthly Rentals in Thirukkovil

We slept two nights in one of the bungalows. Especially great was that you could leave the curtains open without feeling that everyone can look into the room (was often not the case in Sri Lanka). We also liked that there are enough storage options for luggage and it is quiet (it is outside the center but you are in the center in about 5 minutes by tuk tuk). There is a lot of garbage and/or building materials lying around on the premises itself, a lot is still being built. This makes the outdoor area look a little run down. In addition, we had assumed that there was a better equipped (shared) kitchen. The only communal kitchen had a sign saying the room was for staff only. The kitchen in the bungalow had two pots, kettle, fridge, a glass, a cutting board and two forks/ spoons. The stove had the wrong connection for the socket, so it was unusable... sweet dogs on site, give them water! 🤗

One of a kind experience sleeping in one of the Cabanas/Tree houses - comparing with older places the well-fitted mosquito-net was a welcomed change. The food is a little pricey but worth every penny, the quality is really good and everything is really authentic. The pizza and the breakfast were really delicious. The crew which worked there worked really hard to make it one of the best experiences we had while traveling through Sri Lanka - they fulfilled every wish. One big plus was that you can order everything, anytime through a simple text message - never seen this before! There is not much to do around the resort but that makes it such a good place to wind down and relax. All in all we can recommend this resort and if we were ever to be around Sri Lanka again, this would be one of our top choices.

We had a truly amazing stay at this accommodation. The place is spacious, clean, and offers a lot of privacy. Having direct access to a quiet and well-kept beach was a real highlight—it felt like our own private paradise. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was just as described. We also rented a scooter through Hajith, which made exploring the area super easy. Even though the scooter was a bit older, it worked perfectly fine for what we needed. The owner and his assistant on site were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. You can really feel the care they put into making their guests feel at home. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely come back!

Super Nice Staff! Rasa, the manager is super nice and helpful. Even told us where to find the wild elephants and came with us to see them. His food was very nice as well! We were there in off-season so only 2/3 cabanas were occupied. But even in high season there is only a maximum of 30~ people there he told us. Located directly at the beach we could see the sunrise from our bed in the open cabana. Would definitely recommend!
