Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please choose a different experience. We want you to come away feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. You will be wearing a full bee suit.

Our kayaking eco tour explores both the wonderful waters & beautiful beaches of Shell Key Preserve. This is an entirely outdoors experience! We do have to adjust daily tour times to work with the tides+weather so PLEASE LET US KNOW if you are only available for the 1 time slot you select. We'll meet everyone at the launch, do intros, give waterproof bags,& get prepped for kayaking. No experience needed; we'll give everyone a paddling overview! We use primarily double kayaks for ease+comfort. (Your booking time is the planned arrival time. Average water depth 2ft) After that we'll get launched into Shell Key Preserve, a beautiful shallow environment with tons of wildlife & a very interesting ecosystem which we'll discuss+the history of the Preserve! From the shallow seagrass flats to the large mangrove islands to the pristine beaches of Shell Key itself we'll try to cover it all! Including traveling through some mangrove tunnels (tides permitting, mainly Mar-Oct) We'll also look for+talk about some of our incredible wildlife in the Preserve including dolphins, manatees, & other fish/birds! THE TOUR: We will focus on Ybor City and will include the following: meeting at the local, well-known craft brewery Coppertail Brewing Co.; visiting the José Martí Park and Vicente Martinez Ybor's Cigar Factory to learn about Cuba's historical connection with Ybor City; visiting the many retail and boutique cigar shops to see people handing-roll cigars, as well as (time permitting) visiting a number of other local breweries and local establishments on 7th Ave (La Séptima), Ybor's "Main Street,” before returning to Coppertail Brewing Co. Participants are encouraged to make a reservation to dine at the Columbia Restaurant (founded in 1905) at the conclusion of the tour. This trip is for the individual who wants to engage in an authentic and historic Tampa walking experience. If you'd like a more individualized experience, I can tailor a more customized tour based on your specific areas of interest. For this, I would need a minimum of 4 participants. Feel free to contact me with any inquires. Other things to note: *Dress appropriately for the Tampa, Florida weather by checking the forecast in advance. **Cigars are not included in the cost of the tour. ***Food and drinks at the Columbia Restaurant are not included in the tour.

Take a clear kayaking adventure through Shell Key Preserve, a tropical paradise with unique marine habitats. Your knowledgeable ecotour guide will welcome you and provide brief paddling and safety instructions. Then, you’ll be loaded into your tandem clear kayak and off on a 2-hour adventure! Your tour guide leads the way around the mangrove islands, through the shallows, and to the beach. If the tide is high, your guide will show you a hidden mangrove tunnel. You’ll also take a break at Shell Key Beach, where you can collect shells, take in the views, and be surrounded by nature. Your guide will be happy to take plenty of photos, provide awesome unique facts, and make sure you have fun along the way! While in the preserve, be on the lookout for a Manatee or the beautiful pink Roseate Spoonbills in the summer months. White Pelicans call the sandbars of Shell Key Preserve their home during the winter months! Dolphins frolic in crystal-clear waters throughout the year, and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. Don’t forget to look through your clear kayak for a unique view of the ecosystems that are underwater! Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

A smiling face will greet you as soon as you arrive at our launch site. We will provide you with ice cold drinking water, a waterproof bag to protect your cellphone, keys, wallet, etc. We'll walk down to the kayak launch area and go over all safety precautions including proper use of your life jacket & provide a detailed paddle lesson. Once we are ready to paddle, we will embark on a two hour kayak adventure exploring beautiful Sarasota Bay and the world famous Lido Key mangrove tunnels. I'll tell you all about the interesting history of our beautiful bay as well as talk to you about the incredible flora and fauna we encounter! If we are lucky, we may even be visited be amazing dolphins and gentle manatees. Then, we will journey through Lido Key's spectacular mangrove tunnels while we learn of their importance to our coastal ecosystem. Once our tour is over, we will send you on your way with memories that will last a lifetime. Important note: I will message you immediately after you book to get your preference on single kayaks or tandems. If I get no response, we will default to all tandems if your group is even numbered, or all tandems and a single if its odd numbered. Your 1.5+ hour interactive nature experience with the bees begins with a multimedia overview of the life of a bee. You’ll see a hive and learn how to hold a frame (without squishing the bees -they don’t like that). We’ll get suited up. Light a smoker. Do a safety check, and approach the hive. At the hive you’ll see and feel the power of propolis (a supplement for humans as well) -- its the glue bees use to seal up the hive. We’ll lift the lid and go inside. For some, that’s might be as far as they want to go. But, if you’re adventurous, we will do a complete hive inspection: Pull frames to see how the bees create honey and keep the colony alive. You’ll see open “wet cells” of nectar that are still in the process of transforming into honey. You’ll see capped honey, tiny freshly laid eggs and all the stages of bee development ( larvae, caped brood, and newly emerging “baby bees”). I’ll show you how beekeepers help control pests (other insects and diseases) and keep the bees healthy so they can do their important work. You’ll hold frames of bees and feel the weight of a full frame of honey when compared to a frame of bees. There’s always time for selfies. You’ll sample honey & enjoy a cold beverage sweetened with honey. This is Ecco tourism with some of mother nature’s most important workers.

It's a gorgeous day and you are ready to submerge in a fun and relaxing experience picnicking at the Lake. We will meet at Lake Eola Park and you will be guided to a charmingly adorned area where a breathtaking vista awaits, and the enchanting atmosphere will accompany you in creating an unforgettable memory. Additionally, there will be ample opportunity to capture photographs and indulge in delectable treats and beverages.

This is a unique experience, we will meet at a park and sit on a blanket surrounded by crystals. You will be taken through a 1:1 healing and cleansing experience. They will have an angel card reading and chakra cleansing while being taken through some breathing exercises. Guests will be given some fun insight into the seaside town and directed towards a place of their liking. Cute coffee shops, ice cream parlors, artisan craft breweries, or boutique shops.

We will start our experience with a traditional German beer, wine or cocktail in my patio overlooking my lush and tropical, lakeside back yard. Then we move into my dining room/kitchen to prepare our German meal. I will guide you through aspects of German food culture, seasonal customs and will advise you of Tampa Bay's local local European shops that have German specialty items and ingredients available. We will cook a typical seasonal three-course menu with a healthy and delicious take on German cuisine. The Class will culminate, as we enjoy our home-cooked meal together, family style, with beer and wine around my dining room table.

Join me for a sixty minute experience in the delightful picturesque Crest Lake Park. With the warm sunshine and surrounded by beautiful green nature we will begin and end each lesson with some breathing exercises along with some light stress-relieving meditation. The lesson will also cover gentle stretching, beneficial core/stability work along with overall strength training. Each lesson can be customized to your group's level of fitness and preferences. You have the option of focusing on lighter more relaxing yoga or pilates based flow or a more high intensity cardio based routine which will really get that heart rate going, burn those extra calories along with increasing oxygen and blood flow. You can also choose to do a fusion of both.

As your host, I'll guide you through the Silver River via glass bottom kayaks! I'll make sure you experience all the hot spots that you're otherwise likely to miss on your own, while offering a unique underwater view of sunken shipwrecks, deep blue springs, caves, artifacts and more! We'll share our waterways with an abundance of wildlife such as manatees, alligators, turtles, otters, monkeys and several species of fish and birds! This is an experience you'll never forget; equal parts serene and adventurous and appropriate for all ages and experience levels! My glass bottom kayaks are the only of it's kind on the Silver River! They come with a sit-in-top design, which means they are well suited to all-weather paddling. The cockpit is dropped lower into the boat, which means stability is greatly increased, paddler comfort is enhanced, and wave impact is reduced. It's nearly impossible to tip or flip! My kayaks come standard with a transparent hull for underwater viewing all the way to the bottom, even in the deepest springs in the river. There's plenty of room for a comfortable, stable ride! Guests Meet our yacht at the Hotel Zamora boat dock in St. Pete Beach and depart for a 3 hour tour of St Pete Beach, Pass-a-grille, Terra Verde, Shell Key, the Gulf of Mexico, and Bunces Pass. Once the guest arrives at the designated location, the application is one of the most exclusive lakes chains in the area, we will give you a short introduction where we will talk about the area and the detailed explanations about the activities to be carried out. Then we proceed to the training prior to the activities, which include:   1- Tour through each of the lakes that make up this chain, where you can locate part of the wonderful wildlife that surrounds the entire area, points of interest and some of the beautiful mansions of local and international celebrities.   2- Free activities where you can experience in first person the excitement and adrenaline offered by water activities such as the handling of jet skis.   For us it is possible to give this extraordinary experience to our guests thanks to the wonderful climate and the variety offered by the Orlando area where you can undoubtedly return to your homes with the sweet taste of an unforgettable experience. Be ready for a paddling excursion that will showcase Winter Park’s natural beauty from the water. We’ll guide the way through narrow Venetian style canals laced with history and lined with some of Florida’s finest flora and fauna. Clear kayak tours through the crystalline waters of Rainbow Springs!! We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. We'll get you loaded up into your clear kayak and off we go! You will be riding in a tandem clear kayak during the experience unless booking as a solo guest. The paddle will last about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. Let's go on a clear kayak ecotour adventure on the Weeki Wachee River- one of the most scenic waterways in Florida! We start in the quiet estuary of the Mud and Weeki Wachee Rivers, or where they meet the Gulf of Mexico.The first half of the paddle will take us through a salt marsh before we start kayaking up the Weeki Wachee River (a workout, but don't worry we take breaks) and the second half will be an easier trip back to our launch at Mary's Fish Camp. Be ready for lots of great local nature and wildlife such as manatees, dolphins, birds, turtles and fish while kayaking past iconic places on the river such as Rogers Park, a public swim area, and Hospital Hole- the river has so many places! Expect an adventure that is part wild and part urban as the river is a popular one to enjoy living and recreating on. We spend the first 20 minutes taking care of the basics, signing waivers, kayaking lesson and information about the tour ahead. We spend 2 hours on the water depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way! This is a no exit tour to preserve the Weeki Wachee for generations to come. We'll meet at Menard May Park, 413 S. Riverside Drive, Edgewater, and you'll learn the basic skills of Stand Up Paddling before we go on our water excursion. We'll give you all the information you need to safely enjoy your time on the water. We'll guide you along the waterway of the Indian River as the sun sets over the water. It is a great way to relax and enjoy nature at one of the most beautiful times of the day. You will have the opportunity to see dolphins, manatees, turtles, eagles, herons, osprey, stingrays, crabs and more on the water here. It is majestic when you see our local wildlife at this time of day. We will stop on an island along the way to provide you a break. We will bring snacks and drinks while you rest and take in the natural beauty of the sunset. We will take pictures to share so you always have the memories you created with us. Children are also welcome. Anyone age 9 and over can paddle their own vessel. Anyone 8 years and under can ride on a board with their parent or guardian. The whole family can enjoy being on the water together. When you leave this experience you will have a new skill you can use on many new adventures in the future!
