This place is inside a giant retrofitted hangar within Nasa Ames. Lots of old airplanes. Check Groupon; they sometimes have 2 tickets for $10.

The museum is not as extensive in square footage, but it has a lot to offer about the history of naval aviation and aircraft. There are tours conducted by very friendly and knowledgeable docents. If vintage aircraft excites you, visit Moffett Field in Mountain View, CA
