Wall Eden Farm Holidays is 25 minutes drive from Ebbor Gorge and is hidden gem and miniature version of Cheddar Gorge. Andy's top tip! spend the morning in Cheddar Gorge, visiting the caves and checking out the famous walks ( Jacobs ladder) strong legs needed. Follow the gorge to the top, finding the village of Priddy, along with the Queen Vic pub ( children's Play area) Continue soberly to the carpark ( very small) 3/4 mile which offers stunning views of the Somerset levels ( this was once a sea) Continue 1 mile further to Ebbor Gorge, again stunning views and mystical walks. The city of Wells is a short drive and offers a Cathedral of magnificence. I hope this is helpful. Andy :-)

Less famous than Cheddar Gorge, but beautiful and far less crowded. An amazing place to explore, take the dog and / or the kids. There are trails to explore, stunning views and a waterfall! Maps are available in the car park.
Next door neighbour to Wookey Hole is Ebbor Gorge, a national nature reserve and SSSI. There are several trails around the gorge depending on ability, but each one rewards you with spectacular scenery!
Great walk through the Gorge, smaller than Cheddar but still very dramatic. Further up the road is Deer Leap, beautiful level walk out across the fields with views of Glastonbury Tor and out towards the Bristol Channel.
