Santiago's recently re-inaugurated gondola takes you to the top of the Cerro San Cristobal hill. The ride is inexpensive, at less than USD 5, and it offers spectacular views of the city and mountains. Take an Uber/taxi or go to Metro Los Leones, and walk 10 minutes to the gondola station.
