This is a very popular hiking trail, with over 11 miles of trail traversing serene oak woodlands and coastal ridgelines with stunning panoramic vistas of the Pacific Ocean.

This preserve is one of my favorite places to hike. There are five different trails all of which are fairly leisurely. Many people bike them as well. The different trails are marked with colored arrows along the way to keep you on the correct path. I can't say enough about the views! you get an almost 180 degree view of Pismo, Shell, Avila and even out to the Oceano dunes. It is breathtaking! A must visit if you have time. E-bikes and petal assist bikes are not allowed on the trails. *note- it is a preserve so there is wildlife, including rattlesnakes that are protected.

Great hiking/biking trail in Pismo Beach. It's about a 7 minute drive here. Trailhead has parking and public restrooms. Many trails to choose from.
