This is wonderful small museum which is well worth discovering. Illuminating stories of the famous Carron Iron Works, Roman Scotland and the Antonine Wall + two battle sites all close by

Within 10mins drive, Callander Park is a great dog walking location with the ornate Callander House as a centrepiece.

It's bigger park, with a water pond and wild birds. Usually every year one family of swans lives here. People walk dogs here, some sport groups appear, good place for jogging and relax,

A beautiful park with acres of land. Popular with runners, dog walkers, cyclists, tourists - in fact, everybody! There is a boating pond, 3 par golf course, woodlands to explore, children's play park. Some wildlife such as squirrels and rabbits with an occasional sighting of a deer (deep in the woods). Pop into Callender House too. Also part of the John Muir Walk route.
