A fusion of Japanese and French pastries - a must try if you're into sweets that are not overly sugary.

This Japanese-French bakery offers interesting takes on French classics, daily soups, fresh made bread and pastries. The coffee isn't strong enough for my taste, but it is decent.

mon K Patisserie offers baked treats in a style not often found in Toronto. The bakery was inspired by French cuisine, but the goods have a Japanese flair added on by the husband and wife duo who create them. Ryosuke and Naomi Kita are making it a priority to bring Asian-style desserts to the city, and two months in, they say it's working.
