Turret coffee

Why locals recommend it

Forget the fish. This cafe around the corner from Tsukiji serves coffee so good some people plan to come all the way to the market just to stop here for a cup of it on the way. It’s named after the miniature electric trucks, called turrets, that whiz around the market, and you can even sit on one of them inside the shop as you sip on your latte. The evenings there’s a full moon in the night sky, they host an extremely unique full moon drip bar from 5:30 to 6:30 pm where they offer a special pour over coffee that’s served in a small teapot. It’s a really special time to visit.
