From their site: "Herbsaint works closely with local farmers and fishermen, offering contemporary, seasonal French-Southern cuisine with elements of rustic Italian cooking. An eclectic wine list and a knowledgeable staff make for perfect pairings". I'd say that and a 2017 James Beard award winning Best Chef South make for a wonderful downtown, easily accessible ( by trolley and otherwise) delightful dining experience. If the crab bisque is on the menu on that day, GET IT!

Absolutely delicious seafood. Probably the best fried oysters in town. The ceviche, gumbo & gazpacho are all amazing. If you're feeling adventurous, try the goat...it's excellent. Lunch is a bit more low-key than dinner - a great option if you're checking out the WWII museum or took a tour of the garden district. Very friendly service.
