I am from Philly, so I know about cheesesteaks. This is the best Philly cheesesteak in SF, possibly all of CA. They even use Amoroso rolls! Great to-go choice for a cheap lunch or dinner.

We are not in Philly, but if you feel like a great Steak sandwich visit the Cheese Steak Shop in the Castro Village shopping center.

Super casual, blue collar restaurant - but they have very authentic Phillie Cheese Steaks if you feel a craving coming on.
