If you love planes you’ll love this museum – regardless of your age. 100’s of aircrafts from every age of flight are on display. The Battle of Britain hall is particularly interesting. It does take some effort to get here as it’s located in the London suburb of Colindale – 30 minutes by tube from central London. (2 restaurants) ages: 3+ tube: Colindale Underground Station open: Daily 10:00 to 18:00 costs: Free

Great for all the family. Displaying the first 100 years of RAF history, this museum includes 6 huge hangars and a number of onsite cafes serving a full range of drinks, snacks and food to suit every visitor.

The Royal Air Force Museum London offers a fun, enthralling day out for the whole family : and, best of all, admission is free. With so much to see and do from the aircraft to the permanent and temporary exhibitions and displays your visit will fly by.
