Rent a Canoe or Kayak and paddle up the beautiful Wacissa River. Crystal Clear and clean. Awesome swimming hole with floating dock about a mile in!

Want to see some gators? Go rent a kayak or canoe for half a day, swim in a sink hole, and see gators swim right next to you- all in clear water. Finish up with a swim in a sinkhole that flows into the river. A great way to experience nature in North Florida. I’ve seen over 20 gators in one day.

We love kayaking (and canoeing) on the Wacissa River! It's a perfect weekend activity for getting exercise and enjoying #swamplife of the North Florida region. There are blue springs along the pockets of the Wacissa that are perfect for taking a cool dive on a hot summer's day - just stay far away from any onlooking gators! :)
