<5 minutes drive away Built over 600 years ago by the Maguire family, Enniskillen’s castle is steeped in historically events and has had many important functions over the years. What was once one of the few entrances to Ulster, an English garrison and an important military barracks, has been preserved and updated to house the County Museum. Rich in information about Fermanagh and further afield, there is also plenty of interactive displays which are great for kids.
