Rochford SD, population 11...but home of the country music duo "Big and Rich." Grab a beverage at this eclectic stop. Gravel roads in from the south (385) and paved road in from the north (85 south of Cheyenne Crossing)

Make sure you have a map and clear lay of the land--you will likely lose service and this is definitely tucked deep in the hills. It's a bar. It's a gem.

Okay - this place is a little scary, but locals like to say they've gone there. You can order a drink or food. There is a cute little shop across the street from it. It's by the Mickelson Trail as well.

Seriously quirky cash-only family-owned bar in Rochford. Standard burger fare, but with a backwoods flair. Locals congregate on Sundays to strum guitars and pertnear anything else. Don't miss it if you're hiking/biking the Mickelson Trail between Dumont and Mystic.
