This place is super cool in old Japantown, next to Chinatown. As featured in the NY Times bestselling book "Hotel on the Corner of Bittersweet and Sweet". The owner is neat- eccentric and runs a nice teahouse on site. She might give you a free tour of the hotel if you ask. She showed us the spot and it was amazing including an old bathhouse in the basement.
