Santa Fe is a long-standing Bali nightlife institution. Opened in 1993, at the same time as the Hard Rock Café, it is still a very popular venue both for eating and drinking, even though I find their food disappointing. With live music 7 nights a week, it brings an older, straighter crowd than that of the other bars in the street (Bahiana and the strip of gay joints down to the beach). Also, though simple and laid-back, it is actually a bit more expensive than the average.

Live music, food and drinks place. Excellent acoustic duo around 7pm most evenings, then later a classic rock covers band. Also delicious food and excellent service.
