Western breakfasts done right, killer local coffee and a bit of attitude. Overstand is a longstanding favourite for Chiang Mai expats due to its high-quality ingredients and range of dishes. While there's plenty of bacon and eggs, the cafe also does several vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The walls feature local artists.

Good place for breakfast. Artistic and friendly atmosphere yet a bit pricy and limited menu. 8:00am-2:00pm, closed on Tuesday.
