Fun park with a variety of moderately difficult out&back hikes. Cool views of the plains, Golden, and Denver. Gets very busy on the weekends.

The Mt Galbraith trail is one of the closest mountain hikes to Denver and rises quickly above the city, presenting views of Golden, North Table Mountain, Denver, and the plains on one side, and endless mountain peaks on the other.

Hike: 5 mile lollipop style loop. Moderate hike with gorgeous views. Go early on weekends (before 9 to be safe) or go on weekdays because the small parking lot will fill.
