This riverside park stretches along both sides of Sumida River for several hundred meters. In spring it becomes a popular cherry blossom viewing spot.

Sumida Park is one of the best Sakura(Cherry blossoms) Spots in Tokyo. Those Sakura make beautiful flower tunnel in Spring between end of March to middle of April. (There are a lot of ceremonies or events during the period.) And the last weekend in July brings an enormous fireworks display.
