If you are lucky enough to be in Houston between between late February through March then the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a MUST! We go every year and always have a great time. Visit their website for available concerts and don't skip out on the Texas State fair outside the venue.

During March, Houston hosts the largest rodeo in the world. Visit the livestock show to see the wide range of animals, including cows, pigs, and chickens, that were hand-raised by students. The rodeo features rough and tumble cowboys plus my favorite - the mutton bustin. You’ll laugh until you cry. Each night the rodeo features national music acts too. Get your tickets early.
