Why locals recommend it

Stopping here for coffee on a lazy Sunday stroll down Polk Street is a must. Walking in makes me feel like I’ve just entered a MoMA exhibit. Sit down to enjoy your coffee, and watch the baristas dance behind the white counters as they prepare each drink. There’s ample seating on the lofted level for a bird’s-eye view of the action. If you’re into nut-based milks, ask for some in your cold brew coffee. They make their own macadamia and almond blend that pairs well with an iced latte.

This cafe is known for its pour-over coffee, which is made with fresh, single-origin beans. They also have a variety of pastries and other food items. The cafe has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and it's a popular spot for people to work or study.

My favorite (hipster) coffee shop. The baristas know my kids by sight and are always friendly. The coffee and baked goods are SO good.

The best coffee shop in San Francisco, in my humble opinion. Get a bag of beans to take back home with you!
