This is a great family area with small beaches, basketball courts, a playground, bike paths bbqs and rocks to climb on.

Stage Fort Park is a park at Stage Head in Gloucester, Massachusetts, part of the Essex National Heritage Area. It contains two beaches, a large playground, picnic benches, two baseball fields, a basketball court, a dog park and plenty of room for any weekend activities.

GLORIOUS park, great views of Gloucester and everything around. Crescent "cressy" beach is a wonderful little cove to spend an afternoon, and there are public restrooms at the park.

Beautiful area of Gloucester that extends up from ocean side Boulevard. Walking trails, tennis courts. Grills and picnic tables. 15 min drive. Pay to park.
