I would say this used to be a secret spot, but not anymore! This is Ottawa's oldest (dive) bar that recently got a facelift and expansion. A host of quirky clientele makes it the spot to be. In the day, you can enjoy plenty of board and card games and the *jukebox* with your pint. You haven't lived until you've seen the Lucky Ron show on a Saturday afternoon (turned evening, turned night, turned early morning...)

This is Ottawa's oldest Bar, also known as the Laff. Its very causal and unpretentious. Dont leave Ottawa with out having a drink here!

Legendary watering hole dating from 1849 featuring live music, and board-game menu & a lively ambiance. Great place to gather after cheering on our Senators! Don't forget to go see Lucky Ron perform on Saturdays; he hasn't missed a Saturday in 19 years! Cheers!

The oldest bar in Ottawa features a great selection of beers (get a quart of Labatt 50 or a pint of local craft) and live music, including the weekly 4 p.m. show by Ottawa legend Lucky Ron. There's also a stack of board games to play.
