Cheever’s is an institution, with the kind of high-caliber comfort food that’s unique to Oklahoma—think chicken fried steak smothered in jalapeno cream gravy—and wholly delicious. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in OKC. Contemporary comfort food is the best description of this long time local eatery. I do recommend making a reservation as they book up. It’s worth visiting and don’t miss out on the chocolate cake! Located just two blocks and a short walk from The Lola House!
