Wilton house is only 15 minutes away and has beautiful gardens for picnics and a great adventure playground. It also has a river which is fun for children to paddle in. Unfortunately you can’t take dogs. It has a lovely cafe for lunch and afternoon tea. Check it is open as it is closed in the winter months and is often used as a film set.

Located on the outskirts of Wilton (25mins away), this is a wonderful stately home with a brilliant adventure playground for the kids.
