The best University in Australia!

Victoria's oldest and most beautiful university, and where I'm lucky enough to spend a lot of my time! The university offers maps for a self-guided walking tour, which lasts about an hour and takes guests through the most significant architecture and landmarks on campus. Take a stroll across South Lawn and underneath the cloisters of the Old Quad, take in the grand old colleges and halls and wander through (In my opinion!) some of Melbourne's loveliest secret gardens. My favourite is System Garden, established in 1856 and as tranquil as it is pretty. You won't want to leave, so remember to take a good book and, if you really want to do like the students do, grab a coffee from Kere Kere on the way! Just a short drive or tram ride from The Corner House. Open 7 days a week, though check opening times for particular parts of the university before you visit.

It might seem weird to have a university on here, but really Melbourne Uni is a mix of great architecture and historic buildings. If you have time check it out; it is so big it has its own postcode!
