Built in 1816, Schneider Haus is the oldest dwelling in Kitchener. Costumed re-enactors portray life as it was in 1856 with around 7,000 historical household items. Open year round except for a couple of weeks around Christmas, this is a family and budget friendly (max admission fee is $6 for an adult) excursion. www.schneiderhaus.ca
