Tips from locals
A local favorite. Newly opened to the public. The water rises quickly, so if it starts to rain it is time to go. But it is a gorgeous site to see.
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world is an easy one hour drive from Nashville. Cummins Falls is a great day trip!
If you like hiking, swimming, and just having a blast then this is the place for you. About a mile walk to the bottom but once you get to the bottom it’s awesome! Less than twenty minutes away.
A bit of a drive but it is completely worth it! Nice long hike that ends in a series of waterfalls with natural swimming pools.
We love to hit the numerous national parks within the area. Foster Falls is one our favorites for off the path hiking. If you want to get to the good part, you will have to get wet!
