Anchor River enterprises provides a rather unique way to get charter fishing boats into the water. Anchor Point is home to some of the largest tides in the world being able to go in and out over 300 yards every six hours at the peak of the month making it very difficult to have any sort of boat docking system. To Combat this, Anchor River Enterprises uses repurposed logging skidders to "launch" and "catch" charter boats on a daily basis. Its truly something to watch! The large amount of fishing activity attracts many bald eagles and as many as eighty have been counted to gather at one time. This is one of only two tractor launches in the world that launches boats into the ocean in this way!
