This park with the largest trees in the world that are over 2,000 years old is absolutely mind blowing and my favorite place in the Bay Area. Plenty of trails ranging from easy to difficult. About 45 minute drive from Sunnyvale.

This is a great place to see soaring redwood trees. You can hike, just drive through, grab a snack or go to the visitor's center.
