Planina Cave is the largest water cave in Slovenia.

The cave is located on the southern edge of the Planina field. Inside you can find a variety of halls, numerous wonderful lakes, speleothems and a subterranean confluence of two rivers. About 500 meters deep in the cave, the Pivka River joins Rak River, together forming the Unica River. A lot of cave animals live inside including the famous human fish.
