Simply stunning architecture and there are many peaceful places in the gardens that surround it to read or contemplate. It is one of ten Bahai House's of Worship around the world. There is a welcome center and it is most often open to the public.

One of only seven temples in the world, it is a beautiful building with gorgeous gardens surrounded by one of the most pristine neighborhoods in Chicago and located right on the Lake. A very unique spot that is well worth the visit on a nice day.
