Tips from locals
One of Florence's best free museum spaces, starting with the church of Orsanmichele, and continuing upstairs with the amazing historic bronze and stone statues, concluding with a great view of the city from the top floor.
Built in 1337 and used a grain market and grain storage (on the third floor) to withstand famine or sieges. Then it became the offices of the craft and trade guilds. Now it’s a church and museum. Worth to at least look at it from the outside and appreciate its important history, even if you don’t go in!
This church has borned as market, then a place to store the grain, then what is actually: one wonderfull church
