Sunday drive & stroll Head to the Fines Creek Cafe for a bite to eat, then drive the Rattler toward Hot Springs. Drive to Max Patch for a short hike to see panoramic views of Mount Mitchell and the Great Smoky Mountains. Pack a picnic to enjoy at Max Patch. Bring a fishing pole to fish the Max Patch Pond.
