Lanikai Pillbox Hike has become very popular with visitors. At the top is two cement bunkers built in 1943 that funtioned as Coast Artilery observation stations. From the top you can take selfies with Mokulua islands in the background. The hike is a bit steep at the begining so you should wear good shoes and bring bottled water.

Its a beautiful view, relatively easy hike, wear shoes. You can go swimming after at lanikai beach.

Best pillbox hike for sunrise. Afterwards head over down the street to Mother's Bakery for coffee and pastries.
